Fiber-Hosting's GigE network is located in 56 Marietta Atlanta, Georgia. 56 Marietta is a 160,000 square foot, 10 story, fully dedicated telecommunication/interconnect facility located in the heart of Atlanta's central business district, two blocks from CNN. 100% of 56 Marietta's tenants are in the telecommunications or Internet industry or companies that require a high level of security for their mission critical business continuity requirements. There is no public access to this facility. In 1999 Marietta Street Partners, LLC redeveloped this former Western Union headquarters building into what has become Atlanta's premier and only exclusive carrier hotel. This telecommunications/data grade facility is comprised of Enterprise customers, CLEC's, ISP's and ASP's, which include over 250 telecommunication related companies and 50+ carriers.
Data Center Infrastructure
Fire Protection: Dry pipe pre-action system.
Security: 24/7 manned security station in building lobby, with “man-trap” secured doors. Exterior closed circuit TV on front entry and rear loading. Card key access to all exterior doors and elevators.
Risers: Five newly created risers, including three diverse telecommunications risers, one new electrical riser and one new emergency generator riser. For the ease of connectivity, 56 Marietta has pre-installed diverse vertical conduits with pullboxes on every floor.
Delivery/ Loading: A secure loading area in the surface lot at the rear of the building is available to tenants for delivery of equipment.
Primary Power: Building is engineered to provide all full floor tenants, including Meet Me Room & "The Vault" with 100 watts per SF of power at 480 volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire and the “MMR” with 100 watts per SF of power at 208 volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire. Existing electrical services consist of (3) 2000 KVA, 480 volt transformers in the 480 volt GA Power Vault and (2) 500 KVA volt transformers in the 208 volt GA Power Vault. The 480 volt and 208 volt Vaults are fed from a “Network Distribution Grid” which is served by multiple and separate GA Power sub-stations providing superior redundancy and a very reliable source of power. The power distribution is Georgia Power's most reliable grid that also supports the hospitals in the downtown area.
Backup Power: Building currently has (14) backup generators.
Fuel Storage: 56 Marietta has 12,000 gallons of existing fuel storage.
Fiber Connectivity: For the ease of connectivity, 56 Marietta has pre installed diverse vertical conduits with pull boxes on every floor.
